Make Them Green With Envy

How to wear: green eyeshadow

Get ready to make everyone green with envy. 2019 is the year for green eyeshadow and this trending look is going nowhere. Jewel toned eyes have been spotted all over the catwalks and on red carpets with celebrities including Karlie Kloss and Emma Stone rocking the look.

Unsure how to conquer green eyeshadow? We’re here to make sure you don’t look like the Wicked Witch of the West with a shade to give every face a fresh update. Here are our emerald rules for going green this season. Adds palette to basket.

1. Choose the right green for you

The green eye trend suits all skin types, but it’s best to find a shade to suit your eye colour. If you have lighter eyes, a darker green will define them more to make your eyes pop — we recommend Centre Stage. If you have a darker eye colour, we’d recommend a lighter shade like Kiwi or Frosted Mint to bring out the warmth in your eyes.

2. Try a hint of glitter

Shade: Centre Stage

If you’re just looking to bring out your eye colour in general, we recommend a shade of green eyeshadow with hints of gold; step in Centre Stage to make your eyes pop. Another option is to add in a glitter finish to your Beautonomy palette, we love Golden Sun.

3. Keep it simple

Minimum effort, maximum effect is the key benefit to this look. Colour can have a more powerful effect with minimal makeup, so opt for a simple base and glowy highlighter to off set your statement green eyeshadow.

Shade: Kiwi

4. What eye shape are you?

Green eyeshadow works well for a smoky eye or as a statement eyeliner. If you have an almond shaped eye try the eye shadow around your whole eye, whereas if your eyes a smaller a stroke of shadow on the top lid works best, for spring we love Frosted Mint to tick off the pastel trend too.
