Green Smokey Eye Tutorial
We are gonna show you guys how to do a really simple smokey eye with our stunning green shimmer shade “Centre Stage”!
This is the perfect look for those of us who are just a little bit stuck in our comfort zone of only using neutral shades. Like when you look down at your favourite eyeshadow palette and realise you’ve hit pan on the same 2 shades you’ve worn every day for the last 3 years. It’s time to switch it up boo!
This look is super quick and easy, and gives a gorgeous *pop* of colour that is universally flattering and totally not going to overpower your makeup or look like the clown from ‘It’ (which deep down is what we all fear when trying to recreate Instagram makeup…)
It’s also a slightly softer alternative to a black smokey eye, which often doesn’t suit everyone and can look pretty harsh sometimes if you’re not trying to go for the Morticia Adams look.
Step 1: Dust our warm brown shade ‘Clay’ over the crease and in a loose ‘V’ shade in the outer corner of the eye.
Step 2: Dust ‘Oh Honey’ across the lid, just above where you applied ‘Clay’.
Step 3: Use ‘Papaya’ to blend the two previous shades together using a clean fluffy eyeshadow brush in small circular motions.
Step 4: Use your finger to apply ‘Centre Stage’ in the centre of your eyelid
Step 5: Apply ‘Dessy’ in the corners of the eyelid
Step 6: Use ‘Clay’ across the crease & at the corners to blend everything together.
Step 7: Add ‘French 75’ on the brow bone and the inner corner of the eye. Blend any harsh lines using a clean brush. Add brows, eyeliner & mascara and you’re all done!
